Ask Life Launches Second Phase at Urmston
Manchester Living
23/04/2008
Following on from the unprecedented success of the first phase, Ask Life is now releasing the second phase of it's apartment scheme in Urmston, Manchester.
The scheme includes 80 one and two bedroom apartments (seven of which have been set aside as affordable housing), each featuring a balcony or winter garden and fully fitted kitchen and bathroom.
Duncan Bowman, director of Ask Life, said:
"The demand for the first scheme was outstanding and despite the current lull in the residential market we retain large interest in this second phase as with the re-development of the town centre, which is transforming the location coupled with Ask Life's commitment to building quality, luxurious apartments, people are buying into the medium to long-term financial security of an investment in this exciting development."
With the first phase selling out in less than two hours, after 100 people had queued - some overnight - to reserve an apartment, the Ask team are expecting the second phase to be equally popular.
People who missed out on the first phase were given the opportunity to buy in the second phase, and apartments were then released for general sale on April 20th.
The apartments, which range in price from around £115,000 for a one bedroom apartment to £150,000 for a two bedroom apartment are central to a wider scheme to redevelop the whole of Urmston town centre, which is being led by Ask Developments and Trafford Council, completely transforming this area.
The first phase for this scheme is due for completion in early 2009 and will eventually include a new 50,000 sq ft Sainsbury's food store, a new library and an additional 28 shops and restaurants.
